Unveiling the Lyriq-V's Impressive Performance

Cadillac recently confirmed its intentions to bring the 615 horsepower, 650 lb-ft of torque Lyriq-V to these markets for the 2027 model year. Greg Rowe, Acting Managing Director for GM Australia & New Zealand, emphasized that the Lyriq-V represents a milestone, being the first V-series electric model. He noted that the SUV delivers the expected responsiveness, precision, and excitement of a performance Cadillac, boasting 459 kW and 880 Nm of torque, and accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, while also maintaining the sophistication and practicality inherent to the Lyriq line.

Tailored for the Oceania Market: Right-Hand Drive and Unique Features

Reports from GM Authority indicate that the 2027 Cadillac Lyriq-V destined for Australia and New Zealand will feature a right-hand-drive setup, mirroring the configuration initially introduced in Japan. This version will also come with a specialized 92 kWh battery pack for international markets, offering an estimated range of 471 km (approximately 295 miles) under the WLTP combined cycle. Furthermore, the Oceania-specific Lyriq-V will include distinct trim adjustments, such as larger side mirrors and exclusive interior upholstery options, enhancing its appeal in these regions. Pricing for the vehicle is expected to commence at 109,000 NZD, equivalent to about ,500 USD.
